I am a filmmaker and I've been studying visual effects and digital compositing for the last four years at the art institute of Portland.

My journey has been particularly interesting and a bit different from my fellow students. In addition to getting my degree I was also engaged in a feature film project that I began years before. With this film being a futuristic sci-fi odyssey, a degree in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics (VEMG) was and obvious choice for me. Having been a filmmaker since I was twelve, my skills in Digital Film and Video (DFV) were pretty well refined and I needed more specialized formal training. Learning advanced digital compositing and motion graphics was the next step.

Now I begin a new chapter. With my feature film done and my bachelor’s degree complete, I’m ready to take on new projects and work with new people. I look forward to a bright future of collaboration and creativity.  Even if that means working alone in a dimly lit room.
